Def Jam

In the early 2000's I was knee deep in the music industry. Creating website and branding for various record labels and music artists. One of my biggest clients was the legendary Def Jam Records.

Not only was it a huge honor but at the time we were doing really innovative things with flash. Creating fully interactive experiences that brought the concepts of the albums to life.

Def Jam

This site was for Caes' album Missing You. The artist wanted the user to experience what it would be like to sit at his desk and write the album them selves.

He wanted it to feel personal, artistic & hand written. We went with a wood motif, photos and paper to represent the desk theme. Then we went more painterly and inky with the content area.

Def Jam

Back in the early 2000's I was contracted to create a site for R&B artist Montell Jordan. Unfortunately the album he was working on never came out, so we canceled the website.

Def Jam

Yet another fun project for Def Jam. This time it was for the 2002 Dru Hill album Dru World Order.

The group wanted what they described as a "Mortal Kombat" type of theme, mixed with classic chinese and japanese influence.
